What started from one of Ron's cooking classes at the Palo Alto Adult School in 2003, to selling Oaxacan Mole Negro and Tamales at the Palo Alto Farmers' Market the next Spring - May of 2004, to owning and operating The Oaxacan Kitchen restaurant in Palo Alto has led us back to the streets. Oaxacan Kitchen Mobile took to the road January of 2011.
We serve authentic Mexican food created with seasonal ingredients sourced from local purveyors. The ingredients that we procure from the farms and artisans at the various farmers' markets go directly in to our food.
The Oaxacan Kitchen Mobile is committed to the environment and offers sustainably raised and hormone-free meats. The seafood that we offer is sourced locally.
Out of love and respect for our planet, our children and future generations. We use only reusable, recyclable or compostable products, which means we won’t be using Styrofoam or plastic bags. We use 100% biodegradable and compostable boxes made from sugarcane for to-go packaging.
Thank you for your support over the years. For those who don't know us, we look forward to serving you at our catered events, cooking classes, team building and of course at the mobile kitchen - Ron Kent
